Lake Bohinj

Tucked away in Triglav National Park, at the end of a winding mountain road, sits the glacial Lake Bohinj.  There's not much there, just a small hotel, two or three cafes, and two or three outfitters.  Otherwise, it's just crystal-clear water surrounded by trees and mountains, the kind of setting you can't help but picture yourself waking up to every morning.  Best of all, despite its remoteness and lack of tourists, it's just over an hour drive from Ljubljana.

We spent our afternoon in this lake today, four of the few souls who braved the cold water (I'll let you guess which four).  It was a good day.
